Doug & Candy Gintz...

Doug Gintz was born and raised in Spokane where his family owned and operated Gintz Electric.  He learned the trade and worked as an electrician until 1986, when he and Candy began to travel the U.S. in a music ministry. He had previously played saxophone at Shadle Park High and participated in choir at Fourth Memorial Church.

Doug attended Ecola Bible School in Oregon and Trinity Bible College in Florida before transferring to Moody Northwest where he graduated with a Bible degree.  He has completed his BA at Whitworth University with a degree in Program Management.

Candy Gintz was born in Tennessee and raised in Spokane where she sang from the time she could walk! She started singing specials with her mom in the Airway Heights Baptist church at age 5.  At age 11 she was selected as a STAR-LIGHTER for the Boyle Fuel company, and for 3 years sang the ever-so-famous jingle for their amateur youth show, STARLIT STAIRWAY, on KHQ.  She also sang all through high school with a show choir, The Ambassadors, from Cheney High School.

Together Doug and Candy started recording and traveling in ministry in 1985 after Candy won the National Grange competition for best of show in Portland, Maine.  They have traveled across the US and raised all 4 of their children on the road in their 40' family coach.  During this time they also made several international ministry trips to Asia, Europe and South America.

Family grown, they still travel, work with churches and take trips to the Republic of Georgia where they share in ministry.
